Interior

The Master Bedroom: has a queen bed, plenty of closet space, a dresser and end tables.

The North Upper Floor Bedroom: has a queen bed, dresser and end tables. With a 14 foot vaulted ceiling, this bedroom feels spacious and open. One of the windows in the room overlooks the main living area below.

The South Upper Floor Bedroom: has a single-over-double bunk bed. We also have a single bed mattress that is stored under the bunk bed.

Other Places to Sleep: We have an IKEA pull-up couch in the recreation room.

The well-stocked open-concept kitchen will have just about everything you need to create your delicious cottage meals. There is a microwave, dishwasher, stove/oven, and coffee maker. The cupboards are full of everything from plates and utensils to corkscrews and can openers. The cottage's main living area is open and connects to the kitchen and dining areas. The ceilings rise from 13 feet to 24 feet, with plenty of natural light, giving a very spacious feel.

There's a large high-efficiency fireplace and two large ceiling fans to circulate the warmth in the winter. In the summer, the cottage stays quite cool, and is kept extra cool by the two large ceiling fans in the main cottage area and also ceiling fans in each bedroom. The large 16 x 38 foot recreation room has two main areas. At the front, you will find a table and chairs where you can play games, read or just look out over the lake. At the back, you will find a ping-pong table / pool table, a Foosball table, and a couch with a fold-up bed.

We also have a laundry room and a couple of bathrooms.

Exterior

Bay Lake is crystal clear and clean. At the shore, the water is shallow and gets deeper very gradually. The hard-packed sandy bottom is an excellent surface for the kids to play and swim. Adults will have to walk out into the water for a bit to get to the deeper water. With almost 4 acres of forested property to explore, you may see deer, hawks, woodpeckers and many other birds. On the lake, you could see loons, ducks and jumping bass. Bay Lake is known for its pickerel fishing, but you may also catch bass, pike, perch and even lake trout. The large deck wraps around the front and side of the cottage; a perfect place to dine, read or just listen to the call of the loons. Since the water starts out shallow and has a hard-packed sand surface, it is a perfect spot to set up a volleyball net. You are welcome to use our net which you can set up in the water. You can also spend some time playing bocce on the bocce court beside the cottage or playing on the lawn beside and behind the cottage.
