A lakefront property on exclusive Hedge Road, east of Jackson's Point and The 5-star Briars Resort, The Hedges is "next door" to Sibbald Point Provincial Park , with its sand beach, forest trails and more.

A classic Lake Simcoe vacation home, The Hedges is beautifully updated as you would expect. Featuring four+ bedrooms, three baths, central air, high-speed internet access, this lakehouse can comfortably accommodate six to eight people +.
With a private lakefront featuring multilevel decks and dock, and a spacious & secluded garden, The Hedges' grounds provide an incomparable oasis for relaxation.
And it offers front row seats for spectacular sunsets.

The Hedges is available for MINIMUM ONE Week rentals, for just six weeks of the summer, and on inquiry, at other times of the year.

The Hedges features 4 bedrooms, 3 baths.
Two comfortable bedrooms on the main floor, (1 Kg bed, 1 Daybed =2 twins or king) with ensuites, one with a bathtub.
2nd floor - Two bedrooms (1 Queen, 1 Twin with pullout) and a loft area,(with pullout bed options), and shared bathroom with small tub.

The home is winterized and features a sunny breakfast nook, a beautiful sunroom, partially used as the dining area, a comfortable living room — with a 54" TV/Apple TV combination featuring Netflix, and a fireplace.
There are lake views in all common areas.

A (small) washer and dryer are available for limited use - located in the 2nd bathroom on the main floor.


The name, The Hedges comes from the beautiful Hedges that provide a very private vacation on a fenced, oversize lot. There's lots of room to play games like volleyball or for kids to run around and have fun.

Hammocks to kick back on, and comfy outdoor furniture extend your cottage enjoyment.
There are outdoor games available.
Use of a large hot tub is negotiable.
There are locations for an outdoor fire, (pit and fire bowls), a staple of Canadian summer.
There are various destinations available to you in the garden - you choose your favourite place to gather , or find a quiet escape.

The expansive waterfront has a traditional garden glider, a large upper deck where you can enjoy lake views and have meals together, an expansive lakeside deck, a dock (with ladder) and comfy chairs, and a small beach area where children could play, with easy access to swimming.

The Hedges is a (very) short walk from Sibbald Point Park, its sandy beach, the forested nature trails, the play areas and the museum provide walkable destinations for a change of pace.

The Briars Resort and Golf & Country Club are a walk, bike ride or drive along the lake from The Hedges for a meal, a spa booking or a round of golf, along with some local history.

Jackson's Point and Sutton provide shopping opportunities, restaurants, a Sunday morning farmers market, and ICE CREAM!

Steven Leacock, (Sunshine Sketches of a Small Town) and Mazo de la Roche (Whiteoaks of Jalna) are resting at neighbouring, peaceful and beautiful St. Georges Church.

Georgina Island (native lands) accessible by ferry and a short drive just past the park.

Beautiful biking routes and York Region forest conservation areas provide for nearby excursions. Mini golf, paintball, available within minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: Minimum 1 week rental. We do not take
bookings for weekends.

House Rules & Cancellations

This is not a party lakehouse. Unless negotiated with the owners, a maximum of 12 (allowing for day visitors) are allowed on the property.
