The cottage has 1 bedroom, plus a loft. The bedroom has a double bed, while the loft has 2 twin beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need.

The cottage is steps from a private sand beach with 150 feet of water frontage. Several trees surround the cottage offering shade and privacy. A propane BBQ, picnic table, swing glider, fire pit, and horse shoe pits are available for your use.

The cottage shares the property with the owners home.

Activities Nearby

Both Gore Bay and Mindemoya are 20 minutes away. Each town offers shopping, dining and activities. Gore Bay has an award winning theatre that operates for the month of July, as well as two museums to explore.

The island offers many outdoor activities. Summer is the most popular time to visit, but there are activities all year round.

Kagawong is 3 minutes down the road from the cottage. Bridal Veil Falls is located in Kagawong. There are hiking trails, a museum, public beach, stores to browse including Manitoulin Chocolate Works, an outdoor market on Wednesdays, kayak and other water sport rentals, art galleries and so much more.

The Cup and Saucer is a 25 minute drive from the cottage.

During the fall there are many picturesque vistas offering fantastic photographic opportunities. The fall display of colours is spectacular!

In the winter snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and ice fishing are very popular. There are two clubs on the island that keep groomed trails for skiing, and there is a network of trails across the island for snowmobiling.

Hunting, fishing, and boating are popular activities on the island.

Rental Rates

High Season (June- Labour Day Weekend) $ 950 a week

Mid Season (May to June, September to mid October) $600 a week, nightly $125 (2 night minimum stay except Victoria Day weekend which is 3 nights ).

A deposit is required for a weekly stay, nightly to be paid in full upon booking.

We charge $60.00 extra/pet/week. This is due to the fact that there is more likely to be scratches, wear and tear and higher cleaning fees with pets. We also ask that the pets stay off of the furniture/beds. We also reserve the right to charge for any damage done by a pet.
