Situated on the shores of beautiful Pigeon Lake, Alberta and only one hour south of Edmonton, our 23 acres of forests and rolling hills offer a peaceful setting for your next group event. Our site is very unique as it offers both privacy and convenience. The large grassy areas are perfect for outdoor activities with family and friends. Small to large groups can be accommodated with three facilities and 46 beds. RV sites and tenting options are available for an extra charge. Minimum of two nights booking in the high season (May-October). Pigeon Lake is a recreation lake with fishing , boating and 5 area golf courses. Two town sites are within 15 minutes of Rundle's Mission. Discover this hidden treasure- you won't be disappointed.

Each of the cottages has five bedrooms, with a full bath in each room. There are three rooms with two twin beds, one room with a double bed and one room with three twin beds. Each house has one bedroom that is handicapped accessible with a wheelchair accessible shower. The center of the house features a dining room/ living room common area. The galley style kitchen is fully equipped for 11 people, with a fridge, range, microwave, coffee maker and chest freezer. All cooking utensils and dishes are supplied as well as an outdoor propane BBQ. Each house has its own fire pit and picnic tables. Optional services are linens, firewood, and RV/tenting sites.


When you arrive at Rundle's Mission you will notice the large grassy hills surrounded by an expansive forest of flora and fauna. There is ample room for a game of baseball, Bocce ball, flying a kite or sledding down the hill. Along the south side of the site is beautiful Pigeon Lake- one of Alberta's largest recreation lakes. Mission Beach road meanders in front of Rundle's Mission and offers a nice place to stroll along the lakeshore. New in 2015 is our Lakeshore Lookout - an accessible gazebo and picnic area on the lakeshore. For a beach swim, walk along mission beach road for 1/2 km to a roped off swimming area and playground for the kids. Behind the houses is the entrance to 220 acres of Nature Conservancy. You will discover 6 km of nature path and groomed cross country ski trails in the winter months. It makes a perfect spot for enjoying the natural environment and you might even see the moose and deer that live in these woods year round. Beside the Memorial Lodge is an Alberta Historic site with interpretive panels depicting the history of this site and its importance to the settlement of Western Canada.

Private and relaxing atmosphere where our goal is to provide the quiet and seclusion to relax and rejuvenate in the beautiful woods surrounding the property. 220 acres with 6 km of groomed Cross County Ski Trails and Nature path right out the back door. Lots of room for a baseball game, Bocce ball, flying a kite or a nature walk in the woods. Bring a sled to toboggan down our big hills! 15 minutes to golf courses and shopping. Beach and ski trails right outside your door.
Each Cottage is fully equipped for your stay. Your rental includes all dishes, cooking utensils, dish cloths, and a starter package of paper products. Optional Linen Service is available for a nominal charge. One bedroom is handicapped accessible with wheelchair shower. Each room has its own full bath. Outdoor Fire-Pit at each cottage. RV's accepted for nominal charge.

Pigeon Lake is one of Alberta's premier recreation lakes, suitable for all water activities. With two provincial parks as well as Ma-Me-O Beach all within 10 minutes, there are lots of beach and activity options. The area boasts five golf courses including a Par 3 and an additional mini-golf in the summer months. There are two main shopping areas with restaurants, grocery stores, ice-cream and candy shops. A spa and unique boutiques featuring cottage country crafts, furniture and resort clothing are all located within 15 minutes. Winter activities include ice-fishing, cross country skiing at both the Provincial Park and Rundle's Mission, shopping, reading a book by the fire and listening to the chickadees in the woods.

House Rules & Cancellations

Privacy Policy: Please respect the other renters on the property and stay within your rental area. Public areas are the Historic Boardwalk.
Cancellations within 90 days prior to the booking date will forfeit the 50% deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours will forfeit the entire rental purchase. Cancellations made prior to 90 days will be charges a 10% admin fee of the total rental price.
Deposit: 50% of the total base rental is required to secure your booking
Camping is permited behind the house you are renting. Basic power is provided.
Pets are allowed on leash but are NOT allowed in any of the facilties. Damages will be assessed and charged if any sign of pets in ur facilities
Firewood is available if pre-booked. You can also bring your own for the outddor fire-pits. Open Fires restricted to fire-pits
Liquor is allowed. If you are selling liquor at your function please follow AGLC rules and regulations and we recommend you purchase event insurance
Cleaning - please leave the facilities in a neat and orderly manner. Replace all furniture and equipment to their original location. If you ordered linens please strip the beds and leave the mattress pad and quilt on the bed as you found it. Please us cleaning supplies provided. We have a leave it as you found it policy
No Fireworks are allowed
No off road motorized vehicles- we are a Nature Conservancy
11pm is sound curfew - please respect the neigbours
No smoking in the buildings
Final Payment is due upon check-out
