Norman's Landing is a renovated 4-season cottage on a quiet bay of Maple Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. It is so close to the water's edge you can hear the gentle lapping of the water.
The fishing is great right off the dock. A guest caught a three foot long muskie!
The over sized dock is the place to sun yourself, watch the loons, and moor your boat (large or small). A nearby public boat launch makes bringing your boat to Norman's Landing a breeze. No boat? No problem. We provide a canoe, row boat and paddle boat plus life jackets and paddles.
The cottage has spectacular sunrises and all day sun. At the back, a grassy area and a badminton net provide family fun.
The cottage is tastefully furnished with country antiques. The open concept living room takes advantage of the lake view and has knotty pine walls and ceiling.
For the gourmet cook - the modern kitchen is well equipped, but note that there is no dishwasher. The bathroom is new and includes a shower but no bath.
A spacious master bedroom has a high quality queen size bed, and a walk out to the deck overlooking the lake.
The other two bedrooms are very small and are suitable for children or one adult. Both have a forest view. One has a double bed. The other has a single bed.
The waterfront bunkie provides sleeping accommodation for 2 adults in a queen bed.
A firepit is located right by the water's edge and firewood is provided. Wifi is included
