Because of COVID, we rent Saturday 12 noon to Friday 12 noon. That gives us from Friday 12 noon to disinfect the place and air it out for the next renters. We do not rent Saturday to Saturday.
One and a half hours from the GTA. Great waterfront cottage in the Kawarthas for a family with children. Sleeps maximum 8 in 4 bedrooms. Enjoy 100 feet of private shoreline on quiet Canal Lake. Excellent swimming and fishing. Sit on the dock while your children play along the shallow shoreline or on the sandy beach. Fish off the dock for largemouth bass, carp, crappie, muskie, perch, pike, and walleye. Take the canoe, paddle board, or pedal boat around the lake. Enjoy the evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows. Numerous amenities will make your stay fun and comfortable. Very clean bungalow with a new and modern kitchen.

Rental Rates
$2900 rental period from Saturday 12 noon to Friday 12 noon.
We do not rent for shorter than 6 nights.

House Rules & Cancellations
Maximum 8 people (no tents or trailers).
A 50% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking (preferred method is Interac e-Transfer). The deposit will be forfeited if you cancel the rental less than 60 days prior to check in. Outstanding balance + $800.00 damage deposit is due 30 days prior to checking in. No refund of rental fee, but damage deposit will be returned to you if rental is cancelled within 30 days of check in date. The damage deposit will be returned to you by Interac e-Transfer after the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner (within 7 business days).
Must be at least 25 years of age to rent cottage.
No smoking inside the house. You must clean up after your pets; in particular, bag and dispose of pet droppings.
