Beautiful all-season waterfront home, sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms plus separate sun-room with queen pullout couch, 2 full bathrooms, 1 with jacuzzis tub and separate shower, A/C, WiFi, Cable, Cell reception, beautiful sunsets, 3 attached decks and large dock with boathouse attached, great winter access, great swimming with shallow access and calm bay for swimming and water sports, sandy bottom to end of dock, some weeds, water shoes recommended, canoe, great fishing, beautiful sunsets, pet friendly (TBD).
All the comforts of home, tile and broadloom or rugs, formal oak dining room and kitchen, leather furniture in living and dining room, sun-room with fabric sectional sofa bed, front foyer with chairs for reading. 2 bedrooms: Master Bedroom with 1 Queen bed, 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom, separate sun room with privacy doors doubles as bedroom with Queen pull out sofa bed and door to deck. Extra Single mattress and blow up mattress. Potable well water, septic tank system, water softener, separate laundry room with washer and dryer, 3 TV's and DVDs, stereo, lots of board games and Bocce ball, Propane BBQ, fireplace.
Located on a quiet street with 100 feet of waterfront in a calm bay on Sturgeon lake which is Lock 32 in the Trent. Flat terrain on road side with gentle slope on waterside. Directly in front of the cottage you can wade into shallow water with stone steps and walk or swim our to deeper water or jump off the wooden dock, some weeds depending on conditions. Boat launch nearby.
The town of Bobcaygeon is a short 1 km drive, walk or bike ride away. All the amenities you need are in town with an array of activities and quaint country shops and restaurants including Bigley's famous for its selection of shoes, bathing suits, family clothing and home essentials.

The Town of Bobcaygeon made famous by the band The Tragically Hip is a short drive or walk from the cottage. Indulge in a sampling of Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream. There are many restaurants and cafes, and plenty of shopping. For current films you can see movies in LIndsay. Large screen tv has cable and Netflix. Watersports rental at Buckeye Sports in Bobcaygeon. A visit to the Settlers Village, Saturday Farmers Market, Dinner Theatre nearby are fun local activities. Golfers can tee off nearby in Dunsford and at Eganridge. There are massage therapists, walk-in clinics, hair salons and various spa services in Bobcaygeon and at Eganridge. Seasonal skating rink. Exercise at Forbert Memorial Pool and Gym for a reasonable fee. Many places of worship to choose from in town and all welcome visitors. Wonderful fishing in the Kawarthas. Boats and watercraft pass from Sturgeon lake to Pigeon lake through Lock 32 of Trent system. For a change of scene the towns of Fenelon Falls, Kinmount, Lindsay, Buckhorn and Peterborough are a short drive away.

House Rules & Cancellations
No smoking inside cottage
Water/plumbing/septic:
Only toilet paper and bodily waste flush down toilet- No feminine products, pads/tampons/diapers, or wipes.
No solid waste or grease in sink drains.
Well water with water softener. Potable tested regularly. For drinking you may prefer to use your own bottled water.
Extra Fees (optional):
Cleaning service is not provided
Cleaning Service Optional: $125
Unless extra cleaning service is purchased and added to your contract the cottage must be left in the same condition as you found it ready for the next visitors.
Linens and towels: not provided
Linens: Queen/Double $25, Single $15
Towels: $5 each
Pet Friendly (TBD):
Pets must be approved by owner. No charge for first pet. $100 for each additional pet. You are solely responsible for its actions and whereabouts.
Garbage and recycling:
Garbage is to be placed securely in clear bags inside trash canisters and recycling boxes in garage and set out at roadside on Tuesday morning at 7 am so that animals do not get into it overnight.
Rental rates are based on maximum 6 people. Children under 1 are free.
No extra guests/no parties.
If you plan on having additional guests you must request permission from owner.
If there are any noise complaints from the neighbours/and or the police are called to the cottage for any negative reason, the owner will have the right to hold back some or all of the damage deposit.
Preferred method of payment is by E-Transfer. A Non-Refundable Deposit of 50% of rental fee is due at time of booking to confirm rental dates.
The outstanding balance of 50% of rental fee plus $1,000.00 security/damage deposit is due 4 weeks prior to check-in or TBD.
If the outstanding balance is not received prior to check-in, the owner has right to cancel the reservation and the deposit is forfeited The security/damage deposit is returned to you by e-transfer within 7 business days after check-out and property inspection. If there is any damage to the cottage the claim will be handled between the client and owner.
The Primary renter must be at least 21 years of age at time of check-in.
