Spacious two bedrooms quaint cottage whose centerpiece is the panoramic view of the lake from the sweeping "L-shaped" screened - in furnished front veranda. This area is where families come to be together: sharing the day's events, play card games, dine, read, listen to music, or await the day's quiet descent as night falls & the moon rises. Here is a traditional cottage with huge fully equipped kitchen with dining table, older-style pantries/cupboards, containing dishes, utensils, & appliances. Cottage's many windows make it bright and well ventilated, there are fans, space heaters and fireplace mantle with electric flame/ heater. Furnished living room has WIFI, Stereo, TV. Bathroom is small with shower, 2 bedrooms are ample with closets, night tables, duvets & pillows.The veranda is fully furnished with two futons that open as doubles, third double IKEA futon in Kitchen nook, as do the 2 bed sofas. There are two dining areas, one inside kitchen, second in the screened veranda with pendant - dimmer lamp over the dining table which adds "pleasant- ambiance" to evening dinners seemingly.

Towels and beddings provided upon request. Guests are asked to bring drinking water which is easily purchased at 1 stop grocery store 5 minutes away in Quebec village of Val des Monts (formerly Perkins). There are fire alarm and extinguishers in the cottage. There is a gaz BBQ in the unscreened part of the veranda facilitating meal preparation. Full amenities. Cottage sleeps 6 -10 people


The cottage is situated at water's edge. There is ample parking for 2-3 cars. Close by, is the lawn court for badminton, volley ball, lawn bowling & croquet.

The cottage is unique in that it is "grandfathered" for close proximity to the water shoreline notably 20 feet away. Cottage's close proximity to the lake lets you hear nighttime sound of water gently lapping the shoreline - like a nocturnal lullaby rocking you to sleep! The property is 3 acres with 600 ' of waterfront there are no neighbors close to you back or east side, the west side has second cottage that I own which isn't visible from this property. There is a path thru the woods linking the 2 cottages which makes the 2 properties attractive to 2-3 families who want to share vacation time together but want to live in separate cottages. The property is highly treed & nestled under the crown of aged majestic pine trees, which provides added privacy and quiet.

Circling the cottage is gently sloped lawn which leads eastside to property's sunning area at water’s edge, taking in the glorious morning sun. The firepit is here with lawn chairs/table to enjoy cook-out & campfire - toasted marsh-mellows. Further eastside, is a sandy beach with clear gradual descent safe for kids, and for beaching canoe / kayak. Moving westside, takes you to 30’ cedar dock with swim ladder, and deeper / pristine water for diving & advanced swimmers.16’ alu boat is included with oars & life jackets. Life - jackets must be worn by all when on the lake. There are 2 adult lifejackets with cottage. Tenants are required to bring their own life jackets in excess of of 2 occupants.

Privacy, & 600 feet of pristine tree-lined undulating waterfront combined with traditional but well maintained older style cottage is what renders this property exceptional. Very peaceful, tranquil place inside & out

Rental Rates

Based on 5 people maximum. Weekly Rental is Sunday to Sunday: Check in 2 pm - Check Out 11 a.m.
Rental rates include all booking fees and taxes, if applicable. Children under 2 years of age are free.
Over 5 guests, pls advise owner, expect a charge of $25 per adult per night;
Linen service, if requested is $100. Cleaning Service, mandatory at $100
8 HP motor can be rented if requested at booking @$300 /week, gaz (25 litres) & oil extra $30 / tank

House Rules & Cancellations

A 50% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking (preferred method is Interac e-Transfer).
Outstanding balance + $250 key & damage deposit is due 30 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
The damage deposit is returned to you by Interac e-Transfer upon check out, or once the cottage & property are inspected by owner or designate (within 3 business days).

Upon confirmation of availability, brief rental agreement will be scanned to you, setting out terms & conditions to protect both parties. Kindly sign & arrange for deposit via e transfer.Copy of signatories' contract is scanned back for your records with electronic receipt of renter’s deposit.

Full refund of deposit in event renter cancels no less than 30 days prior to arrival date. Within the 30 day period of arrival date, a full refund of the deposit & paid up rental monies, less $50 administration fee, will be returned conditional the owner is able to re-rent the cottage at same rate & period. In event, the owner re-rents the property but for a lesser rate or period, the owner, less $50 admin fee, will return the lesser rental amount to the first renter within 7 calendar days . In the event the property is not re-rented within the 30 day time period, despite owner’s best efforts, the initial rent deposit & rental payment(s) are forfeited. Note the $250 damage deposit, if paid, is returned within 7 days to the renter when cancellation occurs.
