Step back in time and spend a peaceful week on clear, headwater Eagle Lake. This traditional, original log cabin was built in the early 1940s. It features varnished log walls that warm up nicely with a fire on in the woodstove. The cabin is set in the Almaguin forest with a large, open, sunny area as well. Great for natural enthusiasts. The waterfront location has easy access by stairs for swimming and boating fun. The lake is about 9 km long, bisected by the access road, with numerous bays, some with names such as Rainbow, Jim Young, and East Bay. Spectacular sunrises grace the cabin in the morning. Listen to the haunting call of the loons at sunset. This adorable log cabin is great for a relaxing week away for a family of four or two busy people who just want to get away somewhere special.
