Interior

A 2-story cottage cedar, insulated, lots of windows, Kitchen (16' x 12') fully equipped, (adjacent 5'x 5' picture window patio doors in dining corner) telephone, electricity (underwater cable), hot shower. Living room (hardwood floor) & 2nd floor bedroom (pine floor) are each 16' x 20'. Living room is private; the couch had been replaced with a futon that opens up to make a double bed, so the living room is frequently used as a 2nd bedroom. The cottage has air conditioning in the kitchen & fans in the other rooms.

Exterior

Rowboat for exploring nearby caves & nearby beaver home; 4-burner gas BBQ plus sideburner = Total of 55,000 BTU; large stone campfire pit in front of the cottage with great view of the main open part of the lake; adult-size outdoor tables with umbrellas & chairs plus a a child-size table & chairs for young children, 3 chaise lounges, badminton area with net; swing & water toys for children.

Cottage sits up on a small hill (a gradual slope grants easy access from the dock) overlooking the main, open part of the lake... great view!!! Beach area is flat & spacious,so children have lots of room to run & play. There's a shallow area children can wade & play in, with a deeper area to the right (divided by a large, flat rock) where adults & older children may prefer to jump in. There's a path to the other end of the island where it's deep enough to dive in.

The island consists of 1 acre of 'tendered' land plus 2 additional acres (behind the cottage & beach area) of 'au-naturel' grass, rocks, & trees, except for one tendered path from the cottage to the end of the island & a sitting area with 2 lawn chairs nestled in a delightful, cozy little clearing under a few trees at the far end of the island.

Kayaks, 9 hp 14' aluminum motorboat, PFDs for rent.
